Remember this one I pieced together quickly? The fabric came from a large box full of fabric Ingrid donated. The backing was a sheet that Liesa donated and the batting was purchased from the gift card from my Auntie Ve.
I choose an ugly green color thread and this is my first time using this star panto. I love how it turned out. Even though this quilt is smaller and everything went well, it took 3 hours. I think there is a lot of stitching within this panto which takes more time.
My nine year old niece was visiting grandma's today and she loved this quilt, the fabrics, the thread color and the design. She enjoyed cleaning the machine and watching the machine stitch. She is now adding "Quilter" to her long list of things she wants to be when she grows up.
I'm hoping to get 2 more done before I have to go home.
