Quilt 3

I decided to quilt this quilt next and I had so much fun using rulers, I thought I would use them on this quilt also.

First, the quilt needs to be loaded and clean the machine.

  I really wanted to use a dark blue thread but didn't have any so I used a cream thread instead. Using the rulers was fun and worked well until I tried to do cross hatching between the large blocks in the center. I do not think that worked out so well especially with cream thread on a dark blue background. It sicks out like a sore thumb.  Oh well, lesson learned.

This quilt took 2.5 hours. I have learned that using rulers takes longer than pantographs.  I was tired and called that a night. Not bad, three quilts quilted on a Friday night.
