Quilting on the Weekend

I left work a couple hours early today, loaded up the car with the quilts and the kids and headed to grandma's. There is a lot to do and very little time to get it all done.

Let me start by saying that I HATE pictures of myself and for this project it is a must that I take a lot of photos with me in them to prove that I was the one that did the work. Well, I brought my two photographers along with me and they spent almost the whole time with grandma and grandpa. I tried to take selfies without a selfie stick and it was kind of difficult.

I started off these two beauties and they turned out quite well.

I got them loaded on the machine quite easily and quickly. 

I enjoyed using rulers for the first time on the first quilt and it turned out cute.

I used a pantograph for the second quilt. Everything worked out nicely and quickly.

 First one took 1.75 hours and the second one took an hour to finish. Two down, many more to go.
